LEGAL FEES WITHIN YOUR BUDGETPerusse Family Law & Mediation Services, LLC offers legal representation in all family law matters. If your case involves a large marital estate and big incomes and you need hands-on service in all aspects of your divorce, we can provide representation tailored to your family, finances and goals. I assemble a team of people to partner with me in each case including as necessary, a CPA, a family therapist, a trusts and estates attorney and a business valuator. I have a lot of experience to draw from and I know what it takes to get the job done properly.
My hourly rate is $300/hr. Rates for other attorneys working with the firm are $125/hr-$200/hr depending on skills and experience. The paralegal rate is $100/hr. I require a minimum advance fee of $4,000 to get started on your case. I do not charge clients for postage, faxes, copies, mileage or parking. My office accepts Visa or Mastercard or cash for payment of legal fees.
Flexible Fee Arrangements
If you simply do not have the financial resources to hire a full-time attorney to handle all aspects of your case, don’t despair. We have options for you.
This type of service is offered to clients who do most of the work themselves but hire the attorney to help with specific tasks throughout the divorce proceeding such as:
- Consultation and advice
- Calculating child support
- Calculating cash flow for spousal maintenance
- Drafting or review of documents
- Legal research
- Serving and filing documents
- Serving subpoenas
These services are charged at the attorney’s hourly rate of $300 per hour.
Flat Fee Divorce
Flat fee rates are offered to those clients who prefer to pay a set fee in advance and whose cases could be handled without going to trial. After a consultation about the facts and circumstances of your life, we can decide if a flat fee option is a good fit.
Level 1- $4,000-$6,000
Cases in this category are the least complicated, typically a short-term marriage, a home or retirement assets to divide, no minor children, no spousal support to negotiate and no businesses to value or divide.
Generally, cases that fall into this category would cover cases where the value of the marital estate is small but there may be a home or retirement assets to divide. There may be minor children and a parenting time schedule to develop, no businesses to value or divide and no issues of spousal support to negotiate.
Generally, this flat fee would cover cases where the value of the marital estate is relatively small but there are more complicated issues to negotiate such as parenting time, and spousal support along with valuation of real estate and retirement assets.
